Chef Jaz

Jaz Moore grew up in a small town in North Carolina, surrounded by family that shared their love of cooking. Sunday’s and Holidays were always a big event for her family growing up. They would gather at her Nana’s house and cook an array of southern comfort food. She has fond memories of the aroma brewing from the kitchen. As a child, and even now, anytime spent around Nana dinner table is considered a Holiday. Chef Jaz is thankful to have learned enough over the years to prepare a dish worthy enough to sit next to Nana’s. Chef Jaz Moore is a double major graduate from Johnson & Wales University: with a degree in Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Service Management. She is currently enrolled in Johnson & Wales University pursuing her Masters degree in Business.

Chef Jaz is a traveling Chef with 7 years of professional Culinary experience. She has worked at events such as: the recent Garth Brooks concert hosted at the University of Florida Stadium, The Dell Match Play Championship, The Players Championship, and the Masters Golf Tournament; in which she has attended four years. Three of those four years attending the Masters Golf Tournament were spent in the prestigious Berckmans Place. She has also worked other various golf tournaments, NASCAR races, and the world’s largest hot air balloon festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico just to name a few.

Chef Jaz can be heard on the podcast “Course of Life,” where she was interviewed about her Culinary experiences. She also appeared on a segment of Jacksonville First Coast Living, where she had the opportunity to create delicious Mardi Gras themed dishes. If you’d like to keep up with Chef Jaz’s next adventure in the Culinary world, You can follow her on Instagram @chefjaz12 and on facebook as Jaz Moore.
